With the “green revolution” starting, people and businesses are looking to generate some of their own energy, so here at Greenshop Solar we are looking for more staff to meet that demand.

We are looking for installers for renewable systems - mainly solar at present.

We work within one hour’s travel of our base at Bisley and we need two additional installers to join the teams. The successful applicants will have building and/or electrical skills, have a clean driving licence and must be interested in renewable energy with an eye to the future.

We typically install domestic and commercial systems up to 50kW peak, we also install storage systems, solar thermal and heat pumps. We have in the past installed wind turbines and now with the Government change of heart on onshore wind perhaps this will return.

The job is fulltime and pay rates will depend on skills and qualification.

One position we are looking for is a solar installer/commissioner, this will involve designing systems, MCS and DNO administration and sign off, plus preparation for jobs. The successful person will be electrically qualified and have PV experience.

For another position the applicant will have construction/roofing experience and be able to complete in-roof, on roof and ground mount systems.
